Faith-in-action artists Doug Brummel and Dave Wilson have launched a new collaborative effort with Unbound, an international nonprofit organization, founded by lay Catholics and grounded in the Gospel call to put the needs of the vulnerable first.
Together, they have created a faith-filled, interactive live show, “The Faith We Live,” for schools, parishes and conferences,
Through Doug and Dave’s engaging and entertaining delivery, “The Faith We Live” highlights stewardship and the social teachings of the Church, bringing to life some of treasures of the Faith, including the Beatitudes, Commandments, Corporal Works of Mercy and life-long discipleship. This presentation also aims to create awareness and innovative solutions in challenging poverty around the world.
For over 40 years, Unbound has been partnering with families living in poverty, empowering them to become self-sufficient and fulfill their desired potential. With 92.6 percent of donations going directly toward program support, Unbound works side by side with people of diverse cultures and faith traditions in Latin America, Asia, and Africa.
“The Faith We Live” extends the organization’s message through Doug and Dave’s unique, engaging and entertaining delivery, which the duo has become known for across the country. The show features all-original, spirited, and empowering music from the duo’s Nashville-produced album.
“The Doug and Dave Show has a deep-rooted desire to serve the poor,” Brummel said. “This collaborative effort creates awareness and serve as a reminder to all generations that we are called to care for others.”
