Doug and Dave team up with Unbound

KANSAS CITY, Kansas – Unbound, an international nonprofit founded by lay Catholics and grounded in the Gospel call to put the needs of the vulnerable first, is pleased to announce a new collaborative effort with faith-in-action artists Doug Brummel and Dave Wilson, talented storytellers, musicians, and stewards of the faith.

Together, they will present a faith-filled, interactive live show to parishes, schools and conferences across the country in an effort to create awareness and innovative solutions in challenging poverty around the world.

The national debut of the show, “The Faith We Live,” is set for Thursday, Oct. 14, at Cure of Ars Church in Leawood, Kansas at 6:30 p.m.

For over 40 years, Unbound has been partnering with families living in poverty, empowering them to become self-sufficient and fulfill their desired potential. With 92.6 percent of donations going directly toward program support, Unbound works side by side with people of diverse cultures and faith traditions in Latin America, Asia, and Africa.

The Faith We Live” will extend the organization’s message through Doug and Dave’s unique, engaging and entertaining delivery, which the duo has become known for across the country. The show will also feature all-original, spirited, and empowering music from their new Nashville-produced album.

“The Doug and Dave Show has a deep-rooted desire to serve the poor,” Brummel said. “This collaborative effort will create awareness and serve as a reminder to all generations that we are called to care for others.”
